personally, i would take it to the dealer and get it checked. they'll simply put the diagnostic tool and tell you the fault. im not sure it's a simple fix for us to deal with :(. keep us posted

I am more inclined to the problem being the fuel pressure sensor! |
problem fixed....
i brought my x5 to the dealer early this morning and the DIS showed "fuel supply pressure insufficient" etc etc.. and some technical terms... they just did some programming using the DIS and it was gone...:) my x5 runs smoothly and shifts as before...:) :) :)

The dealer that wiped the error on the DIS should have checked the fault on a cold and warmed-up car, before letting the customer pick it up! |

our dealer really sucks.. haha.. i'll be bringing in my car again tomorrow. m service tech told me that they really don't know what the problem is. the DIS just showed something about fuel injection supply insufficient bla bla bla and he told me that the problem is sporadic.. he really didn't answer my queation on what the problem is and what part should be checked. so is it really the fuel pressure sensor? defective or what? does this something to do with the fuel? fuel filter? the problem was like fuel was cut off.. the rpm was wiggling at 3,500-4,000 rpms.. -->ed |
