Any chance of a picture of this? Is it the factory eject box in the armrest? Chase those wires in the hinge if it is. Some members have found frayed wires from the armrest hinge movement.

I'll check the armrest when the wife gets home.
Hard to do car stuffs with an 8mo old.

That's not what I was thinking but I would find the module that was added for that speaker and make sure it is unplugged. I know how frustrating this can be, I lived it myself. :banghead:

Yeah, that's a sure sign it won't start next time unless you drive it around for a bit or put it back on a charger. My question for you is does the shift indicator light up after 16 minutes throughout the day/night? This is a firm indicator that the system is awake and something draining voltage. If that light does not come on, it is not waking up and it could be the battery itself.

I have my rear window child lockout switch on the door panel switch console selected so I can see if that light was lit by looking through the passenger window without having to walk around the car in the garage to look through the drivers window to see the shift selector lights.

If that light or lights are not lit, the system is not awake and no drain should be occurring.

Starting to think its the battery.

The Park light stays off I've checked it thru the day and its off. I'll try the window lock trick.
The .5A draw during sleep mode did not turn on the park light.
I turned off the courtesy lights because I heard they stay on during awake mode.

I'm thinking that 38mA should be sleep mode not 500 mA. How did you get that 500 mA reading? Was the car awake at that point?

It was 20min past going into sleep mode. Lasted two minutes then went back to normal.

I don't understand. Are you saying it went to sleep and then woke up?

Windsma 07-13-2017 09:30 PM

It was in sleep mode 20min into it
it read .5a but never "woke up"
Stayed at .5a for 2 minutes
then went back to 0
