22x11.5 square set up

So I found a pretty good price on some BBS SV’s but, the catch is they only have the 22x11.5 left. Hence the cheapness. Any one ever tried a square set of 11.5s? I know on e39s & e38s you can fit a 10.5 square set up. Would the same work on a e53?

PS
Perhaps I am getting ahead of myself as I still haven’t sorted my SLS issue.

I have 22x10.5" on my E53, 11.5" can work, but depends on the offset of the wheels.

My rear wheels still needed a 20-30mm spacer to line up with the fender, and my front wheels were perfectly flush with the fender.

Offset is +38, I think those acs’s are 40 or 45 right.

Yup, mine are 45mm, and have a 20mm spacer on the rear the current setup is:

22x10.5 ET 45 (almost flush) Front
22x10.5 ET 25 (almost flush) Rear (with spacer)

So in your case, to measure up to my wheels/stance to help visualize
(1 inch = 25mm)

So your fronts will stick out 20mm more than mine pictured,
and your rears will be "sunk in" about 5mm less than mine. So you would need a 20-25mm spacer on the rear to match the front and not look funny.

sweet ride !!!!

Ya I wouldn’t want them to stick out past the front fender. Your look would be about what I want.

I hear you, also, the wheels may not stick out as much as you may think(visually), as my vehicle is lowered via coilovers, so the spacing is much more noticeable.

If you're at factory height, you may not be able to notice the 20mm extending out as much, and worst case, you can get the 4.6/4.8is fender extensions that will help conceal them better.
