It's not a bad idea, though you could make the cooling worse if you didn't use the right water in the system.

I was going to buy a similar mister for my home A/C, but I read of many problems when/if the water wasn't filtered, and de-calcified or rid of mineral salts, first. Over time, the unfiltered water would harden over the fins, and reduce cooling efficiency.

I nearly bought one, after two days of 111F last year, and I've got it in my mind as we're getting a stretch of 102-109F temps this week, but I'll probably not , as we have problems with water supply and power going off intermittently, all summer (and spring, fall, and winter).

But, in the case of living/driving in desert conditions, I probably would get onne for car and home use.

Oh, nitrous oxide will cool your intake charge even better, but I'm not so sure that my wif would let me use that (again), at least on my X5.

I would love to run nitrous but it's not really easy to get over here, it's easier than getting a ham sandwich but still.... [emoji1787] [emoji1787]

I wouldn't be too concerned about mineralization considering how radiators are in the tropics or the PNW with rain having tons of contaminates also.

Here's a screenshot from today's wakeup for work 0300, today will suck.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...0edc5692d7.jpg

So I couldn't get close enough for a real photo, but apparently the road into the city had a "slight" accident of an exploding fuel truck... https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...31734d4785.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...69a7d84d56.jpg

The minigun van at the back of the Royals convoy...

You can only see the top from my photo, but I sure as hell wasn't going to pull up next to them and whip out a black colored object (phone) and point it at them! [emoji1787] [emoji1787] https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...58ee7c1335.jpg
