Yeah that's why I thinking that making a forked wrench would maybe work, as you just use flat hardened steel the thickness that will fit. Once bent into a "staple" shape and very short a welded nut on the center will allow you to use a regular socket to turn the staples legs. :dunno:

K. I see where you going with this now EOD. Nah. Easier, faster would be just take a socket and grind it out. I gave up on it. I did change the ones in the front. Eh, maybe I'll regret this decision down the road and if so, at least I already know which socket I will need and what my tolerances are :dunno:
