Did mine this weekend and was hoping for the same plan but it wont work im afriad chap.
With the front pipes disconnected it will keep trying to level the front when you move or unlock it (access mode). To stop that you can disconnect the compressor but then I imagine the rear will gradually get lower and lower and then there will not be a way to bring it back up without a diagnostic tool |
Cheers for the information guys...fronts on order...and just trying to get the rears soughted.

I got them from a friend of a friend at BMW.
You need the bottom rubber, top rubber and top plastic cup |
Today I talked to the local BMW dealer...looks like I'll get the top and bottom rubbers from them....can't seem to find a part number for the top plastic cup...does anyone have it or know where I can find it..???...
