It seems to hold the top pad in place :)

Ok...so today I found out I might have to wait eight weeks for my rear springs..!!!....in having to but new and there arntvany in the country.
So ...my front left airbag is slowly going down...and I'm havi g to get my local indy BMW garage reset it every week.
Its throwing a code....'accumulator or air valve seal stuck closed'.
So we think it is part of the front valve block ....the part that does the right side.
Looking at pics of the front valve block it Iooks like i can just replace one side of the valve block...does anyone have any experience with this???
When searching for front valve blocks for this truck it is as almost impossible...they all come up for the rear...or the e70....but the part number for the front solenoid valves for the e70 match what the local BMW agent gave me.
Abit long winded...but any help mb would be great...cheers

Throw up some part numbers so that we can play along as well. Real oem links.

Yea worth a shot at the front valve block. 8 weeks for part. Dayamn. Is that with every car out there, or is this because you are a pimp with a bmw and you pay the price?

And anyway. I was thinking.

Put in the front springs. And don’t cap those lines off. The valve should be sealing the front individual from the rear. As long as you keep your height sensors in place, car won’t have a reason to initiate a front lift. Get the codes reset and drive it for 8 weeks. If it becomes a problem, cap those lines off and try again. But you will need to trick the front sensors that you are lifted far enough. Even if you get an sls error, your rears will hold and you can keep going. Yea put the fronts in.
