Vacuum pump o-rings
Hey guys, I’m not having any issue finding the o-ring that mates the pump to the block, my question is where can I find the o-ring that mates the cover to the pump!
I’m finding 11667509080, which is also on RealOEM, but nothing else. Thanks |

Someone on eBay sells both together as a kit...
Goes by Al Hafner Tuning on eBay. Easy to find with a quick eBay search. I can't access eBay from work, so cannot provide a link...but kit worked well for me. 2k miles in ;)

Thank you sir!! I actually ended up snagging the Dorman kit from my local Autozone of all places and for $21.57 to boot [emoji106] Should be here tomorrow. - I couldn’t believe they had it... not that they’re necessary, but it came with new bolts as well. |
I honestly looked everywhere, started on RealOEM and then went to FCPEuro and ECS and found very little... Then you guys popped in and all of a sudden I found them everywhere! Was the craziest thing... that said... I guess it helps when you know what your looking for. [emoji106]
Appreciate the help!! |
Don’t have to buy some “kit”, those are unnecessarily marked up. Ring up your local engineering shop and ask if you can buy a couple of o-rings. Viton based. BMW uses BUNA-N which doesn’t have as long of a service life.
The seals are 94mm ID x 3mm wall (inside pump) and 55mm ID x 2.5mm wall (outside pump). |
I know, the 55mm was .88 cents on FCPEuro... but the 94mm (didn’t know the dimensions at the time) was no where to be found.
Being I already have the kit and have torn in to it, I’ll take it on the chin this time and keep this archived for any future needs. Great info to have for sure, thanks FourPointEight-is! [emoji106] |
