Sourced a connector from a recycler. Paid more than I wanted to but it got the job done.

On a side note has anyone ever replaced a door card using all of the clips? The clips fall out and move and its nearly impossible. Is there a secret word I must babble?

Mine stay in place. You sure you have the right clips in there?

Hell I must have been holding my tongue wrong. I had one that moved faster than a cockroach in sunlight when putting the card back on.

I am using the BMW clips my stealership sells. I have some gray and some white. If they are different besides the color I can't tell.

One last question to bury this thread.

While the airbag light is lit would the other working airbags deploy if necessary?

My understanding is they are "fail safe" and are more likely to all go off than selectively go off. But I never found an actual test to confirm.

I have an airbag light due to my own stupidity... Will INPA clear the airbag light IF all connections are good? I think I still have a bad connection to sort out.
Every time I try I get a message about "module refuses to accept command" (my words - not INPAs), error is about resistance too high - in German - and I keep forgetting to google it... (more stupidity)...

Inpa will clear airbag codes.

I have been told (take that with a grain of salt) that the system is disabled if there is a fault and that none of the air bags will deploy. Andrew's guess seems more plausible that they will all deploy, but I have no first hand knowledge of either possibility (and hope I never will :D).
