Yeah I have a few sets of hub-centric rings from when i ran my style 5s on my e36. And i have various spacers. But neither were needed for the rear 214 wheels, squared. They went on tight with no issue.

My wife's 20's also came from an e71 x6 and needed no modification. All 4 were standard e70 74mm hub size. *shrug*

:bustingup That's one of the reasons I wanted a ranch style home when we were shopping 15 years ago. She's going to have to work a lot harder than a push to bump me off! :D

nice tire machine. one way to make sure they get mounted right..

seems like every time a shop mounts mine they end up with scratches. the last shop used a flat head screw driver to take off the wheel weights, gouged the barrels / faces. i couldn't believe how careless some people are.

Only a small update after driving to work and back for a few days.

Parking lot driving seems about the same, maybe a little stiffer? Hardly noticeable. https://youtu.be/-0JQsqPFyt0

Stability seems to have improved a little bit. Doesn't seem quite as top heavy. Maybe a placebo.

Take off is maybe a little slower? Hardly noticeable. This tank couldn't get out of it's own way with 17" skinnies.

But I love the way it looks now and I swear by Michelin tires.

If anyone is wondering, I've used balancing beads in all my tires since 2007 starting with my 94 wrangler with 35x15 bias ply swamper TSLs. Smooth as can be, still today, although old and worn..
This is why I didn't by a balancing machine.
You can use any brand or any kind. I've been using Counteract. I still rotate my tires as needed though.
