Whose running wheel spacers?

Hey guys, just installed a load of new suspension parts including BC coilovers to my 4.6. Waiting for adjustable sway bar end links since the stock ones keep popping out now that it’s low. Then dial it all in. I threw on a set of 22’s and it looks fantastic but they’re super sunken in. I wanted to know whose running spacers, how wide you went and how they feel. TIA!

I run H&R DRA 1" spacers on rears and only chose them as they actually use supplied bolts to mount it to the factory wheel hub then there are 5 more holes in it where you mount your wheel to it using the factory studs. any other way, and I've had issues with spacers using longer bolts and I hated the vibrations.

I use 15mm ecs spacers with extended lugs on the rear of mine. No issues so far (couple of years). Wheels are 20x11.5 et24 so w/ spacers it's effectively et09. My 325's just creep out of the fender arches a couple of mm.

I have 18mm Velocity spacers with style 87 staggered rims and stock size tires.

The width that is right for you depends on the width and offset of your rims. Suggest you drop a plumb line from inside of fender well and measure to the widest part of the tire. Bear in mind that you can space them out to very near the inside of the wheel well but when you do the tire will likely be throwing debris on the side of the vehicle. Also the wider you go the more negative camber you will need to align out. Be sure the brand bolts to the hub and comes with longer lug bolts. Don't go cheap as they must be completely flat and correct strength bolts so they don't cause other problems.

Would you please kindly post some pics? I'm leaning towards those H&R DRA 25mm for my style 87 wheels staggered setup on 4.4 sports with no flares.

Thanks!

I'm running 25mm H&R DRA spacers on mine. They will go right to the edge of the flares with style 87 wheels. See my signature photo.

I run rear spacers as well with no issues. I don't like the fact that they're there, but until I buy properly spec'd wheels, it is what it is. I always recommend torquing wheels with or without spacers with the suspension partially loaded. (Dropped enough to keep the wheel/tire assembly from spinning while reaching the proper torque.)

I’m against them as well.

I forgot to mention that I have to use hub centric rings on the the front wheels.

I am not a fan of it!

They are original BMW X6M wheels though.

These are what I’m going for but since the other wheels I plan on using have a higher offset, I wanted to try the 30mm instead of the 25mm. Glad to know people are safely using them. I don’t track the car or anything, I just want to be safe and everything be dialed in ok and not eat up tires too often.

Yours looks great with the 25mm. If the wheels I use are still too high of an offset for 30mm, I may go 25 and use my 87’s also
