Hi all

Just got x5 back from mechanic yesterday - Oh what a joy it is!!!:2thumbs:

Turns out had bad LCA ball joints (not bad for el cheapo front end kit and logging road abuse)

Had rear shocks and control arms done as well. The road is the worst I have seen it since last winter, and I just enjoyed a casual, easy commute with minimal nuisance.

The mechanic I use also services all the logging company pickups, and he said he gets those in for major repairs in far fewer kilometres. He sees a LOT of frame fractures and busted springs even on much newer trucks, including the much over-rated Tacomas; apparently, the newer they are the more fragile they are being built.
