*edit* research suggests no....

From what I can tell the answer is no. I did recalibrate so that it should read 0 units. However when I check the live data it is not at 0.

When was abs last working? Did you gave any other codes first?

ABS was last working about 9 months ago. Christmas tree light was intermittent for about a week and then never went away.

No other new codes have popped up. Just the usual CEL for 02 sensor and like 5 airbag codes.

I haven't checked the wiring diagram yet but I'm wondering if this sensor goes directly back to the ABS control unit and if the ABS control unit is losing/distorting the signal for this sensor.

I think the air bag codes might be a clue. Are you sure the codes you are getting are for the YAW sensor and not the crash sensors?

Sadly that’s my prime suspect. The faulty design of bond wires wreaks havoc over any possible input. Typically "implausible wheel speed" even with sensors that actually show the speed.

This is what my code reader is showing after I replaced the yaw sensor and recalibrated it.

The air bag codes are old and pre-date the yellow trifecta issue.

Also to note. live data shows all 4 wheels speeds. speedometer and odometer work just fine. Cruise control works fine.

Hey Andrew. I noticed in another thread you said that the foxwell NT520 can code ABS modules. I remember there being 3 options in the ABS service menu: steering angle recalibration, yaw sensor recalibration, and I can't remember the 3rd option. Was it ABS module coding?

Hypothetically, if I pick up a new ABS module, I should be able to code it this way? Can anyone confirm this or do I need another software to code the ABS module?

Could it be that your device is not doing the sensor recalibration correctly.

Sensor is wired directly to DSC module.

I've swapped modules but only when identical model. I only had to re-calibrate the SAS to get things working. I haven't gotten any solid feedback that it is possible to code the abs module. It would of course be the most useful info.

For fun I pulled codes from INPA tonight. Let me know if you see anything obvious. Otherwise I think I'm going to start the process of getting my ABS module rebuilt. Recommendations?

Just to be clear, are these all "faults" in each module?
