I just put one on my 2006 4.4i that I got from the local pull-a-part for $50, to include all brackets, bolts, wiring and control module. I was lucky!

You have located the rear D-pillar blue plugs for the recline switches on your truck? If so, I'd imagine the maroon colored C-pillar plugs should also be present. Most likely tucked under the aluminum channeling that is underneath the plastic trim panels under the rear windows. That's where the main harness for that area runs.

Found the blue plugs, but I must be blind. I can see the harness and I traced it when I had that side apart. I even looked back up through the access panel and still can't see on either side. I'll try again when I have more time.

Looking at that picture, the wires are long enough, wonder if they are tucked upwards under the headliner?

I found a 2004 4.4 at the PicNSave that didn't have the option and the maroon connectors were taped up under that aluminum rail. I could see them on that one but not on mine. I highly suspect they are there and I'm blind but I need a good solid day to get into it on both sides, rip it all apart, cut the slots in the panels and reassemble it all.

For now it's body work for the smashed rear bumper and dented tailgate (getting a door, mirror and hood cleaned up as well), the x-pipe and a solid detailing. Then it'll be reclining motors.

Why are you wanting to retrofit the reclining seats? Just curious, I have found them to be almost totally useless. They seem to be uncomfortable for rear seat passengers of any age unless they are as far back as they go. Just my experience is all.

Same here, I just got one for $40!!! i am going to replace the after market hitch I have now, which does not compare to the BMW factory one - much better design.
