Do you have a picture? Where is it located?
Mine has plugs under the rear seat. I know they for heated seats. Only the fronts seats are heated on mine. However, I may look for a heated rear seats someday.

Sorry, the pic is not posting. Is it too big? Click the upload button. :dunno:

I can see both pics fine. Don't know what the harness is for though, sorry. Looks like the keyed 4pin connectors BMW uses for all sorts of things.

I can also see the pics fine.

If you've looked at several Xs and didn't see anything connected the best way would be to look at a wiring schematic to know for sure.

There's many different options between the X5 lineup itself and different markets. Maybe that plug is all the rage in Europe :D

As crystalworks said it's a common connector which makes it a little more challenging to identify from looking at it.

Oh, sorry. I'm behind a firewall. The pic is linked and not uploaded. I check my phone and saw the pics.

Hehe yes it's a little tricky to figure out which wiring circuit it's on. But I'm sure someone will know

RocketyMan 06-28-2021 11:50 AM

Hmm....i'm curious too. So lets see if I can get the wire colors correct.

1. BROWN
2. PURPLE
3. BLUE
4. BLUE/WHITE

...you guys see that too?
