Hub…free to a good home

I’ve got the right front bearing carrier, swivel bearing, hub, knuckle, whatever installed, so the one I took out is available for adoption. Free to a good home.

The only problem with it is the very issue that made me throw in the towel and buy a used one: I can’t get one of the screws for the tension strut ball joint out. The screw isn’t stripped, just the stupid hex head. Normal these are torx head bolts, but somehow mine are hex.

I’ve got an eBay left side knuckle coming to so I can repeat this silly process. I will say thst I think it must be the easiest way to replace the bearings amd road hub, with it out of the car.

Can you turn it around and take a photo of the inside / bearing / abs area as I want to see how the sensors get the wheel speed signal.

Sure. Traveling thru next tues, but Willdo when I get home. I do know that the bearings have an inboard and outboard sides. Frankly with the exception of a very slightly more beveled edge, they look identical to me. TIS and Bentley say to install the beveled edge inboard, so there must be a difference.

Sorry for the delay Themoog. I've got a bag of excuses I could tell, but regardless, pic of the back of the hub/knuckle and bearing attached. Frankly, I'd completely forgotten about it, but my left side knuckle showed up from ebay yesterday and I remembered I owed you a pic.

I've got a bearing kit coming to me as well from FCP and will take a pic of both sides of the bearing, if that would be helpful.
