I did the front passenger regulator today. Tomorrow I can pull codes, see if i have a second airbag error and whether INPA clears it.

Also general question, the door cards.. I’ve got four different trim panel clip mounts that have separated from the old glue of the door cards itself. As well the very top portion of the door card - the plastic part that seats with metal clips where the window meets. JB Weld? I scuffed one and did the headliner glue (3m green super trim adhesive) and it did not work lol.

I would use jb. Usually I use Kwik so I can assemble same day. If you have the time the thinner slower stuff grabs plastic (well anything) better.

Kwik fixed a hole in my radiator lasted almost two years before it started to leak so slow only could detect with uv dye.

Can confirm, had two airbag errors from INPA -> IDENT/Read Error/Info Memory E53 -> Read Errors. Cleared errors, reread errors, one airbag persists. Seem my driver airbag connector is broken in some capacity

Didn’t you mention it reporter shorted? Remove the shorting bar or tweak with plastic sliver. The connector shorts internally to I guess prevent 12v from beaming through the air and set off the bag.

Yeah I’m pretty sure the driver airbag connector is messed up. That’s the side I messed with the most a long time ago before i knew how to take stuff apart better. I have a replacement airbag wire I can solder too sometime. I distinctly remember manhandling that connector a couple times lol

I have around 10 airbag codes which I have yet to find a way to make go away. I have tried INPA and BMW Scanner v1.4. Both try to clear them but fail to do so.

Anyone in DFW area that has a foxwell pro scanner?

I am just curious to see if the foxwell will clear these. I'd buy one, but I may not be keeping the X5 much longer if I can't figure out the problems (not airbags) I am having with it.
