The area's in red are where I put the electrical tape. Not too thick tho........no more than two or three wraps.......

Like I said worked for me.

1 question?
for those bump stop in the yellow circle, I have tightened the torx screw but the rubber stops still can rotate on both direction is that right?

The tape worked for me.
I wrapped the latch bar months ago and the rattle hasn't come back.

The tape worked for me too - but this was done by the dealer after the car had been in for the second time to fix the rattle

my tailgate rattling all the time
I think the problem may be these rubber stops
I have read threads on this forum which said I can adjust the rubber stops
but even I adjust these rubber stops and tightened the torx screw they still can turn on both side is there anything wrong?

can anyone show a pic of taped latch bar?
