19" Diamaris: unidirectional?

Are the 19" diamaris tires unidirectional? if yes, how do i know the direction of rotation?

I don't remember if they are unidirectional or not, but the direction will be marked on the sidewall as well as the direction of rotation.

No, they are not unidirectional.

if they are the same size...

the word used to be with radial tires that once they were worn in in one direction, the tire 'set' and when reversed the wear became extreme - which is why they recommended front to back rotation vs the old cross rotation (front left to right rear and front right to rear left)

I get the impression that you would need to remount the tires to cross rotate - this could be very confusing if not careful

I also think it would become a hazard if you have a uneven wear of the tire, causing more chances of hydroplane in the rain. Best bet is to check the amount of thread left and if it is less then the recommended depth get new ones. Tires are an important item as they keep your vehicle on the surface.

I don't think you can rotate front to back in this X5 4.4i of mine, the rear tires are much wider than front. This is how they come original from stock size.

Ditto - just giving an example - before my X5, all my vehicles had the same tire size

just be careful in case you take them off the rim-the diagonal threads are to be to the outside
