Roundel Replacement
Hello guys and gals!
I have owned three e36s and just purchased an 2005, X5. I am currently in the process of replacing the hood badge. I removed the old one but the peg legs broke inside the grommet holes. Viewing the underside there are metal holders it appears but do not have any defined edges like a nut. This is new to me. How can I get these broken peg legs out of there? Thanks! * I found the following thread but it was not too useful: http://www.xoutpost.com/x5-e53-forum/...-roundels.html |
Use a small bit drilling a pilot hole and using a screw extractor and tap did the trick.
