I agree...

I recently test drove a 540 (M Sports) and 530D as replacements for the 4.8 which was giving me the yips for driveability.

Now that it is fixed I love it again and the fiver's, while very nice, didn't win me. silly things like nowhere to stash my phone when in the car, drivers door ledge to thin ( I Like to rest an elbow there as am too tall for armrest) could not overcome the practicality of the X5

As they say, never make a decision in the heat of the moment......
