My X5 is stolen

I bought a brand new X5 3.0d and one month later he's gone:tsk:.
Last week i parked on a parking lot and two hours later when I came there was nothing. The insurance will pay it out and I must buy another Bmw,but I will install alaram or something.Last year in my town was stolen about 24 X5:mad:in only three months, the police have found some cars in Serbia.
How is it in the USA,are X5 popular by the car mafia?Does anyone know how can someone start the X5 without the car keys:rolleyes:
Sorry about my bed english,I'am new here, and I'am from Europe

Sorry to hear that. Many SUV are being stolen and then are sold at ridiculous price in Roménia, Sérvia and so on.

Look at this one:

This one is in CZ, it´s mention the car is from 2001 and was facelift to 2004 model :tsk: Doesn´t smell too good. Price seems low for a car with these specs.

if they really want your car, there is nothing you can do about it.
One month ago the x5 (security vehicle, kevlar etc..) of David Beckham(Football player Real Madrid) was also stolen and he had the finest security system, it took the mob...3 minutes to steal it...

Sounds like a stolen to order deal..They are running rampant now..Especially Japanese make SUV/cars...Ive seen some ugly things in my little stint as dealing with cars

..Cars with no VIN's, so they get new registrations as imports, etc....

You think that these parts are stolen?
I heared from some my friends, that the people who work in the germany plant for bmw,are duplicating the X5 keys and then they sell it to the car mafia,i also saw some X5 with broken lock cylinders on the doors, and I think u can drive away the car without the key.

An X5 cannot be "hotwired" without a key programmed for the vehicle.
Trust me. I install car starters and i've tried almost everything to start my X5 without the key .

X5's that are getting stolen are probably being towed to a location then someone somehow programs new keys to work in the vehicle.

Anyway you look at it , someone who works or has worked in a bmw service center is involved.

I wonder if it would be possible to locate your car through the GPS navigation system...........General Motors can track all there vehicles with Onstar

Few months before some guy in my town has stolen an M3,the guy who stole it put an signal disabler in the car so no one can't find the M after the people from the building(M3 was in underground garage) had called the mobile phone operatort, they sed they have no signals on theirs mobile phones, and then the police find out the source that disabled the signals,it was in the car,on car where also not original crotian plates.there wre italina plates so the car was tryed to deliveredm in Italy
Do they broke your lock cylinder?Do you have any pics?
