Well I use this hot new thing that just kame out, it's kalled a foot stool to wash the top of my girl.

Now when I am feeling like a real challenge, get this. I open the door and stand on the sill!

I guess you can put a price tag on anything. Hey who would have ever thought we would be paying for water.

Make it do what it do, but above all, do you.

i purchased those RB's by bavarian. i have yet to put them on my X. although i dont have a problem with aftermarket RB's, i just dont see how they will stay put without drilling a small hole onto the existing boards.

so now i have to decide what to do. put them on or NOT? do i really want to drill a hole? if i opt not to do it i will lose $$. (non refundable)

also, once winter comes it will look like crap with the RB's and my 17's...not a good look. the RB's needs an agressive look....fatter tires/bigger rims. (i do have those...i just need to put them on the X).

sorry...i wasn't much help.

BB, I think you need to mount those bigger rims back on and go with the oem running boards. Then you will have the look you want!!!

I think the point is the lady has got a mean shoe game. So when she has to put on the snow shoes the running boards don't look so sexy.

One question for those ppl that install the bimmian running boards...
Doesnt it indicates it is glue on with 3M tape? Thus, when it requires cleaning it can be remove again? To me that doesnt sound like its easy to clean, neither it is firm enough to stay on the side skirt...
If those arent an issue, I'd get them right the way!:) Thanks

Anything that is affiixed with 3M double sided adhesive is meant to be semi-permanent; the tape is useless after removal. It is a very strong adhesive and allows the convenience of mounting without screws. It also leaves a residual that can be removed with a cleaner and some elbow grease. The Bimmian running boards were meant to be left on.

The holes in the Bimmian boards will likely fill up with dirt. I could see having to scrub and hose off them off frequently to keep them clean. IMHO the OEM RB's are the best choice overall.
