With the 02's, you can get the look pictured in the black X by just clearing the waffles and amber lenses. Nothing else to remove.

If I remove just the yellow portion and the clear circular plastic pieces from the high and low beams, will it look good? Your lights look great because you fit the Angel eyes kit, but if I decide not to fit the A.E kit and make the clear and remain with my xenon, I´m sure it wont look as good as yours, I´m afraid it might look cheap, like if the work was only half way made. What do you think?

IMO you won't have the complete look that I think you're after. If you're goal is to acheive the look above, I would say do the AE's. Considering that you have to bake the lights to remove the lenses, you would accomplished both goals in one process. Go for it, you won't be disappointed.

I have an '01 with the sport package. To get the clear look, do people usually take out the small orange piece on the ones I have? I'm just curious what it looks like behind that. Thanks.

Do what Bimshire says - buy Solaris bulbs from Bimmian instead of the Osram Silverstars. You can see from the photographs in this article, the Silverstars still appear as amber-tinged in bright external light.

You're talking about removing the clear reflector completely, as well as the small amber portion of the reflector? The amber portion sits over some bare metal as shown in the pictures with the reflectors completely removed. All you need is to dremel it off completely.

Does anybody have any pictures with the amber section completely out? I'm just curious what it will look like without any of the amber. Thanks.

asawadude, for the moment i wont change my lights as I like the way they look, in near future i will drop the angel eyes look :thumbup:and follow your advice.
