X5 is great. OEM tires Suck!... get snow tires and the set up is wonderful.

Keep OEM tires and be prepared for trouble- keep Roadside Assistance number handy.

what size are your oem's?

I bought the "Revos" for my sons 323 and they are simply amazing in the snow & ice!!!

I have Revo's on my Landcruiser and they are great.
I have 18 with Nokian Hak SUV for the X5 and they are the best I have ever had! Use them ever winter, sking ever other weekend. Six to 12 inches of snow and slush, just amazing!

Aimster, not to Pump a sale here, but I have had a set of
BMW OEM 17" wheels with Michelin Alpin dedicated snow
tires for sale, for quite some time on the board. My for sale
notice has fallen off the page.

Wheels are in very, very good condition, no curb rash,
and have dedicated snow tires mounted. The snow tires
have one more season on them, at least.

They are fookin bullet proof in snow: I had to climb 4.2 miles
up our Mtn, some very steep grades, and they work well going
up and coming down.

$400 firm, plus shipping, (a "meet halfway" between you in VA
and me in far western NC, might be possible, too.)

Pics would be available.

Email or PM me...

As Ekaz said, I'll throw the fookers down the hill
before I sell them for less than a $100/wheel-tire combo. ;>)
