Thanks but this is definetly comming from the sunglass holder.I need some ideas on how to stop this annoying rattle

I use the non-smoker ashtray for keeping sun glasses.

Because that space is used for the motor, etc for pano-roof.

Hmm, wait a minute.. :confused: I've got a (May) 2006 X5 With Pano Roof and a Sunglass holder... and by the way, it too rattles, but only when my noisy metal-frame sunglasses are in it....:rolleyes:

Hope U get that rattle fixed. I do hate :mad: them rattles.. Now seriously; Godeacs06 might have a point; sometimes you could Swear a rattle comes from a specific place, only to find out its sourced elsewhere. Have U tried removing the sunglass holder and driving around to see if the rattle persists?

Its not just a sunglass holder.Its a hole box that contains reading lights and the garage transformer.Its a pain to take the whole thing apart.
