Definitely the 4.4!
|
The biggest drawback of owning a 3.0i is the feeling of regret that you didn't buy the 4.4i while trying to pass a set of triples on 2 lane highway while going up a grade.
The biggest drawback to owning a 4.4i is looking at the near empty fuel gauge after a 400 mile interstate trip on which zero cars passed you something more difficult to accomplish with a 3.0i. |
Ok I'm convinced now! I am going to put my deposit down after work!
I can't wait for the new one because my 2004 Jeep GC (yikes!) goes back in 7 weeks, and I am also not one to like to try out a new car in its first year. My current jeep is a 6 cy. so I thought the 3.0 would be enough power considering what I am used to but, for the small price it seems I would really be mad at myself if I didn't get the 4.4. I guess I need to start planning a summer road trip to see how great it will be on the highways! By the way it is also going to be white with truffle. Thanks for all the helps, these boards are sooo helpful. |
Great choice and nice color combo - can't wait to see your pics - keep us posted!

I've owned one of each. You won't go wrong with either choice. For the minimal cost difference, I would have to go with the V8. The white and truffle will be a gorgeous combo. Good luck, and welcome!

Great Choice !! If you were in Europe, I'd say get a Diesel .. but if I'd live in the US, the 4.4 V8 would definitely be the no-brainer choice.
Dont forget to post pics !! |
If you call afford it, the V8 will give you a warm fuzzy feeling every time you give it life! Happy motoring.

The V8 is great you will love it.

It's ordered and should be here in 4-6 weeks, closer to 4 weeks! We are still thinking about south carolina pickup and have to let them know by next week. We also didn't get the rear climate package because we thought that getting it without and then getting 20% tints would be best. Any thoughts about that?
