Low pressure with washers
 

The water barely comes out from the head light and windshield washers. The pressure with the washers seems to be quite low. Any idea what has caused the symptom and how to fix it?

are your washer nozzles clogged? (many times waxes/polishes will clog up the washer nozzles for the windshield and headlights and need to be cleaned with a toothpick of chemical solvents)

The nozzles are clean and the water spray is weak from every washer.

Considering that it's low from every washer, despite being obvious...do you have enough fluid?

Yep, it is almost full.

It's the stupid screens that are on the pumps, they get clogged, especially if you use colored windshield fluid, on anything with soap in it. Here is how to fix it.

Remove the pumps from the tank and remove the tank. Under each rubber pump mount is a screen the size of a nickel, if they are beyond cleaning you can get replacements, otherwise wash them out and put it back together.

I still have a pair or pumps and nozzles, but so far every one I have seen is only clogged screens.

Hmm... actually I added some fluid, but I also used a water hose with a water pistol to fill the tank... and there were some foam on top of the water. And after that the symproms occurred. Thanks for the info.

Yep. Now it works.

I think that the soap and other stuff has been accumulated to the bottom of the tank. When I used the water pistol to fill it up, all the stuff separated from the bottom.

By the way: I did not have to remove the tank. I used bottle brush to clean the screens.

Whatever works!, I cleaned out the tanks on mine and the other ones I have seen, probably not needed, but oh well. Glad your back to normal.
