Only servotronic steering rack.After retrofiting you need to recode your
instrument cluster and GM module with new SA code .Some times it working
without recoding.Check if you have in your left part of engine compartment 2pin free connector with white/black and black/red wires.Start your engine end check voltage between this wires.

Looking in the parts catalog, I see there are a few parts that were discontinued (like the hydro steering rack) but they have been replaced with newer part numbers. I bet this the retrofit kit contains the older parts which is why it is also discontinued.

Now if we can get the list of contents, then we can look up the part numbers individually! Someone has to sit and compare all the parts (in the parts catalog) between the servo and regular steering models.

Please help me to activate servotronic!
As I understood, I need to do ZSC manual coding, and while coding input servotronic code. Could you tell me this code?

hopefully something will become of this thread! I would love to have servotronic in my X5. I have a feeling it might not be possible, though, since servotronic wasn't offered until 2002 on the 4.6is ...
