Interesting. Is this feature available on all X5 or does it come with a certain "package"?
Thanks. Curtis |
XXX555,
After you set the pin, remove the key like you were leaving. Then do the 3 steps. Enter you pin swiftly. What year is your car? cue03, I have a 2004 with sports, premium, and rear climate control. No navi or cold weather. I've started using the push button start time now...way cool! Can anybody try this? |
I guess this doesn't work with navi?
|
did not work on my 06 X5 4.4i..
|
The ones w/the Nav, like mine, say CODE. That part is greyed out for me
|
Can you go through the whole process including immobilizing the car before the push button start i cant seem to figure it out, thanks

Anyhow, for X's with a nav... if you turn the key to position #1, your nav screen will fire up. Wait until it's fully booted and get into the computer using the menu options. Having your key in the #1 position gives you the code option. Select it and you should find it to be self-explanatory from there. BTW - I tried this in my '04 with nav and it didn't work for me. Oh well, no big deal, but I thought it sounded pretty cool too. |
