Late to the party, but........

I had that happen before to a 300ZX. I'm alone on the road when Bambi makes an appearance.

My insurance company handled the claim, no problem at all.

Just had a little deer accident this past Spring, and thankful it wasnt nearly this bad...

Bambi is everywhere inside that engine compartment! IMO, you and I were better off than this guy.

Im guessing that was the one thing not covered by warranty?
That had to have smelled le cooked bambie for awhile.

I took out a deer two months ago today in my X5. was still driveable, all lights still worked etc... 3 weeks in the body shop - final assembly was terrible so it has to go back in after i solve my alternator problem next week.

It clipped the front left corner
replaced fender, headlight assy, bumper cover, foglight assy, hood, grill and some assorted trim panels and stuff. total bill $9000
covered by insurance

I was doing 140km/hr when i hit it.

Bought this for my birthday at the end of February and am ready for a divorce
