yesterday I just replaced my OEM wipers with Bosh AeroTwin series (the same Icon model, I suppose). I was surprised that my driver's wiper does't wipe a whole bunch of ice and snow just before my face :( and passenger's wipe do not lie to the glass just about 2 sm from the right side... What can be wrong with wipers/me/wiper arms ?

You need to break off the tabs on your wiper arm.

What the tabs do you mean ? A support for ordinary wipers ?

Wiper blade guide, wiper arm

Part number: 61 61 7 030 264

????

you have an x5 sav and you dont drive above 75mph and never in the rain?

sounds like you can do with a convertible instead :)

I don't find it necessary, but then I don't normally drive at speeds above 75mph, and never in the rain.

It's that little "U" shaped guide on the wiper arm. Grab some pliers and pull it out. It will work perfectly once you do that.

ok, thanks, Michelle ! I'll try to do it ! Can this "U" guide be putted back if I would like to switch back to ordinary wipers ? :) Or this is "one-way surgery" ? :)

One way surgery. But, trust me, you will NOT want to go back to ordinary wipers. It'd be like going from Jessica Simpson to Britney Spears.
