Check Brake Linings
 

OK so I was driving home from this dinner party last night and my car "Brake" light came on and a "check brake linings" came on, what does that mean? Do I need to take my car in ASAP or something? Thanks for your help in advance!

Take your car to the dealer. They'll replace your brake pads and possibly rotors too.

That means your brake pads are wearing low and pads and most likely rotors need to be replaced. Work is covered under maintenance warranty. Just take it to the dealer!

Yeah I called them and they said to bring it in friday morning and they will put new pads on, that should be ok right?
