trading BMW to Chevy.....that's a hard one to digest

Sorry to hear it but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. It's the responsible decision. You're getting a brand new ride, nothing shabby about that. There are people out there that have never had a new car. Good luck with the Trailblazer. :)

This is not true. In my area the BMW dealerships were just as bad as everyone else. That was what really set me off. BMW had no loyalty towards me so that is why I did not have any loyalty for them. Prior to the BMW I had a
Lexus LS 400, and I can say without a doubt in my area BMW can't touch Lexus as far as customer service. My wife still drives a Lexus and they kiss her feet. I did not want to roll the negative equity into another BMW, and still end up not being happy with the service. The money I am saving can go towards something else.

I am glad someone broke it on down. I am at the stage in my life (44 years old) that having an X-5 was no longer worth the risk possibly having to come out of pocket for a major repair. I can't imagine what an engine or transmission would cost to replace in a X-5. I have also seen a couple of people say they are sorry to see me trade down to the Chevy. Although that is your opinion, and I respect your opinion I don't entirely see it that way. That is why I chose the Trailblazer SS. Because of the Corvette engine it will be able to do things my X-5 could never do, and it is more of a hot rod than it is a truck. That was my objective to get something with a different personality. If I was getting the top of the line luxury Trailblazer I think not having the X-5 would hit me harder, but the choice I made is a vehicle that is not supposed to be anything like an X-5 and that is what I wanted.

Say it again, before you sign, Jeep SRT-8 :)

They are nice, but I would not get the employee discount on one of those. Remember the negative equity issue.
