It can be turned off by the dealer.

also, at 37 degrees, the chance of the molecular converter inside the trans-gregen hoberten starts to dermeate. This could make for slippery road conditons.

Most aircraft also have a requirement to switch on anti icing equipment when the OAT is below +4C, roughly 38F. With high RH, ice can start to form even though the temperature hasn't fallen to freezing.

Yes, the X5 does indicate below freezing: we had a few -8C days last winter (July/August) in the snow Down Here.
