I probably shouldnt have expected too much when the directions that came with them might as well have been for assembling a damn tricycle cause it had nothing to do with wiring on an X5. I know there are directions here on the board but honestly what kind of vendor ships a product with expectation that the customer will find the directions on a forum??? :loco: |

jlevi did send out the CWB after i told him about the dimming. so i do have them--i just been busy. i think my biggest gripe were the rings. the assembly is odd...i didnt think we'd be using glue and/or double sided tape. maybe that was my ignorance. also, i dont know about you guys but the dimming does not happen every day. and when it does happen, it doesn't last long. |
Well I sent an e-mail to JLevi support and their response was pretty much "this is a known issue, if you want we'll sell you some ballasts that will fix it" So basically they want to charge me even more to fix a known(yet unadvertised) problem with their product after I've already spent a ridiculous number of hours trying to get it to work correctly. I'm definitely not a satisfied customer. :thumbdown

really? i thought he was only charging for S&H...

You know, I would love to do AEs on the X (did them on the M), but it ain't worth it to have one side dimming, winking or whatever knowing how pissed I'm gonna be when it happens. Mind you, those things (AE) are hot, but no1 has even attempted to state who makes the best. Members are having problems with the JLevi jumpoffs, and the other vendors also; so it seems like the least reliable mod........ I dunno; I roll with the HID fogs anyway......

ooo...it would be cool if you can control the winking ;)
