Unhappy Angel Eye Problem

Ballast for the driver side AE's keeps failing...I had my AE's installed in October within 6 weeks the ballast on the driver side went. I had it replaced and they worked fine until today when the driver side AE's went out again. My AE's are hard wired so as soon as the car is started they come on as my DRLs. The AE's are Predator Ice from Um*Nitza, anyone with similar problems? Any ideas why this is only affecting the driver side? Very strange.

Mine dont work well in the cold.
Same thing as you, one side stays dim for a while-till it warms up

.......So whats the story? Is it worth it to do AEs on my X? I did them on my M back in 99 and I haven't had any dimming probs. or shorts, just some fogging after hard rains...... I don't want to start my X (Claus) and have him winking until the system warms up; thats kinda tacky. Ultimately, who makes the best AE system?

the other three fire up pretty well. it's only when it's really cold that i can see a problem.

My one ring does not wink...it's just not as bright as the rest.
As far as who makes the Best? I don't have that answer since I purchased through JLevi and I'm not familiar with other brands.
