reset the transmission yesterday, seems to be more responsive and smoother...time will tell for sure ....will an aftermarket intake and ugrades void the factory warranty......

So I'm not crazy his 06 4.8is valvetronic is not the same punch at low rpm's as my 01 4.4i. The biggest difference is his suspension rides much softer than mine. I can feel every hole or bump in the road. My wife likes her X3 ride over my X5.

From what I can tell, the valvetronic has robbed the torque from the
car. There may be associated tranny involvement with the 6 speed that makes us feel less torque also. Don't get me wrong, the car is "fast",
I just think most of us would like to feel it more than we see it...imho.
