Interesting X5. Mind opening the hood and taking a picture of the paint name for us?

Nice 97 E39. The refresh lights really make it look a lot younger than it really is...

Just checked the records I have here, looks like originally sold in FLA. I have the complete records just not here, I will have to check.

I have been in South Fla since 1993 fulltime and "seasonally" since the early 80s. Family/career may actually be taking us back up to the NY/NJ/PA area in the not too distant future (just in time for Summer/Fall maybe).

I am Korean but have never been, I will go at some point and now I know to definately go when it is not Cold there!

The E39 looks totally different with the updated bumper and lights, a much needed update :)

Very nice color and very unique. I am also very curious about how this Individual order came to be. Individual X5's are almost mythical. Special order colors are not that uncommon but that only allowed you to select from "normal" colors for $2500 extra. For example you could order an Imola Red or Carbon Black. Maybe this one was a special order paint rather than a true Individual. :dunno:

willy_manily 03-10-2007 07:20 PM

Yes maybe, nah i think it was individual because i was looking on google for individual colours and this was one of them its called Brass Metal or something like that. This colour was only avaliable for special order between 2001-2002 then they changed the individual colours

I hope this helps
