Orange LED light on driver door not on

Hi all, does anyone know what has to be done to fix the little orange light just behind the inside door open handle.

If this is your first time, my advice is to pay close attention to the LED light when removing the door panel. It's the small light that lights up the door handle area. It's tough to see and easy to break and I don't think it's mentioned in any of the otherwise excellent articles explaining how to dismantle the door panel (if it is I missed it and learned the hard way). Once you get the panel loose at the bottom you'll have to reach up between the panel and the now exposed foam and find the wire near the door handle. The light plugs in facing the opposite direction from what you see behind the interior handle. It plugs into a clear plastic piece that works kind of like fiber optics to carry the light from the direction it faces to what you see before the panel is removed.

As for the suggestions on removing the foam, I haven't tried the other suggestions, but I used a small sharp razor to carefully cut the bead without cutting the foam. When I replaced the foam I simply stuck the foam panel back in place and applied pressure along the length of the bead which seemed to work great.

More likely, the fragile clip that holds it in place broke so the light is dangling by it's wires. I glued mine back in place and they are working fine.

well i hope it's something simple like that...thanks TOMAZ:rofl:
