I resisted the DRL's until my wife started driving the X5 and she wanted them. I think they are good idea and most traffic safety studies support their worth.

I believe you are right, it may in fact be Estoril Blue. I did some research and I thought the 04 4.8is only came in Le Mans blue, I still need to check this out and find out what is what. I want the DRL's for the same reason, added safety and I will feel a little bit safer with them on when the wife takes it out.

It's just a car freshener with 2 sided tape. I feel the same way about the avanti27 situation.

I think it is, I just thought the Estoril Blue came on the 04 4.4i and the Le Mans blue only came on the 4.8is. My vin # showes it is a 4.8is but I can not figure out how to find the color in the vin #.

Either way is cool with me, I like both shades. Wuzin, I had a couple of questions for you. First, what color are the center of your rims? and is that the factory ipod hookup? Your X5 looks great. :thumbup:

it should say under the hood the color of the vehicle. (check on the shock tower)

open your hood and look on the right side of the car, there will be the color name :thumbup:

Got it, just checked and Estrol blue it is. :thumbup:
