Just a suggestion. I used to get those BMW special oil changes at the dealer sometime, and while i was at it i asked lots of questions. During that process if it's a good dealer sometime they will run those codes for you. But you gotta be a face they recognize even if you don't buy anything. ;) I use to do this with my 1987 7 series. Got all kind of free info because i hung out and got to know a few folks. :thumbup:
