Interesting find but I wonder how good it would look, especially over time with exposure to the elements despite what the site says. I'm wary of any product that is applied to the outside. My point of reference is a set that was done professionally and it turned out very well. They even did one section darker than the other to match up with a piece of overlapping trim. The important part was that they were able to choose the darkness. The kit on the site seems to only come quite dark. I'd be afraid of getting a ticket and worse, just not have bright enough rear lights and some knucklehead rear ending me at night.

if applied properly, it should last quite a long time.

here's a pic of the headlights that i did (i also tint my own windows) in the "HID Blue" film. a heat gun is needed to get the film to fit on the curves.
