Smoked Tail lights
 

Whats up guys, Anyone know where I can purchase these? They look sooo nice. Anyone got any more pics of any X5's with smoked tails also, there soo sick. Let me know, Thanks a lot guys!

I think they used the VHT Niteshades Spray... Im not sure

You don't need to buy new lights and if you don't want to experiment yourself, find a good bodyshop that does custom work and they can smoke them for you. A friend of mine had that done on his Vovlo S60R by the shop that painted and installed his body kit. You can specify how dark you want them.

cant you just go to a tint shop to get the tailight tinted?

It's not a tint film. It's usually a spray applied to the inside of lense.

it could be film, http://www.rockblocker.com has it for the headlights, but i don't know about the tail lights. i installed some on a friends STi, was thinking about it on my WRX, but decided not to.

i've also seen an STi that has some color mixed into clear and sprayed on the outside of the lens. this was done at a paint/body shop.


the film is thicker than regular tint. it's the same material as the clear bra.
