Jwalsh, if you could rebuild the rear seats, most good auto upholstry shops (at least in my area) can get leather that perfectly matches.

I purchased a set of E46 Sport seats and I am going to retrofit either the whole seat, or I'm going to swap the seat and back rest, onto the X5 seat skeletons and mechanicals. I checked part numbers online and nearly all of the parts for the seats were identical. I'll let you know in a couple weeks how everything goes
