Interestingly enough, my low end torque is much more powerful. Hmmm...I guess the intake adjustor makes a difference. It is part of the variable intake system which allows more low end torque with choosing the longer intake pathway @ the lower RPM and more HP @ the higher RPM with shorter pathway (better breathing!) The part cost $150!

I have the same exact noise/symptoms coming from the same are on the engine. when you idle there is noise, when you rev a little the noise goes away. I'm gonna try this.

Just noticed this thread. I think this is what my X is doing. Ever since I got it it had a slow reaction to pressing the gas. I started a thread on it but got nowhere. But I seem to have the same wistle at idle and light pressure on the gas. I'm gonna try replacing this and see what happens.
