A one-off version known as the X5 LM was equipped with the M70 S70B56 V12 engine from the Le Mans winning BMW V12 LMR. It was used by Hans Joachim Stuck to set a lap record at the Nurburgring in 2000.

The BMW V12 LMR was a Le Mans Prototype built for sports car racing from 1999 to 2000. The car was built through an alliance between BMW Motorsport and Williams F1, and was the successor to the failed BMW V12 LM of 1998. It is famous for being BMW's only overall victor of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

read the bottom half and it says that there is a v8 twin turbo comin out in the M Sport model, is this true? I thought the M sport was just bodykit and trim, and some other lil accessories, hmm.

The Racing Dynamics front for the E46 looks exactly like the front bumper on the LeMansX5.

As I said many times, why RD don't have this bumper for E53 X5, I'd buy it right away.

LMAO!! If BMW went in this direction with the X6 they would sell millions!!!

OK, I am only going so far to make my X LeMans like as is cost efficient! i.e. removing stuff!!!! No I will not modify the front end, make my hood look like the real thing or spend beaucoup bucks to get the small mirrors! Just not worth it to me....
