Well, I AM a fast driver; but, I am not a BAD driver -- and there IS a big difference. I try to be a good, corteous driver. I can't help what other drivers may think of me, or how they behave around me because of what I drive. 99% of the time, I just smile, shake my head and let it go.

In the West County area of St. Louis I just blend in. Like PNG said there are many other marques that make my X5 just one in a crowd (for those who haven't ever DRIVEN a BMW).

And yes, this is the only site where hundreds of folks will help you with even the most basic of questions. Or, if you're just curious about things ;) .

Welcome; and don't be a stranger!

I saw a guy driving an Iamola red 4.8 today. He saw me getting in to my 4.4 and he looked for quite a while but thats as friendly as anyone
has been driving a BMW. Not sure why BMW owners are not friendly. I always look for a nod or a wave but nothing. I tried but was ignored so for now I've given up
