Opening 4.8 headlights ?

Hi,
what is the best way to open 2005 4.8 headlights?
i tried to open my x5 headlights by using heat (oven) method, but no luck.
I think it's rubber sealing not silicone!
I appreciate your help. Thanks

The story goes, Headlights after the date 10/2002, can not be opened!

Not only post 10/02. My 9/02 X5 with 8/02 lights won't open as well.

Im sad :(
I just bought this car last week from a friend and i wasn't happy with the stock hella hid , so i was planning to remove the stock hid projector and install TL projector with zkw clear lenses for sharper and brighter cutoff
