Opening 4.8 headlights ?

Hi,
what is the best way to open 2005 4.8 headlights?
i tried to open my x5 headlights by using heat (oven) method, but no luck.
I think it's rubber sealing not silicone!
I appreciate your help. Thanks

Not only post 10/02. My 9/02 X5 with 8/02 lights won't open as well.
